Particle detector to measure electrons and protons and Electrostatic Plasma Brake deorbiting experiment. |
| Description |
Main payload is Particle Telescope (PATE). Particle detector capable to measure electrons and protons, their energies and pitch angles. The electrons are monitored with a range of 80 to 1600 keV with a single channel, while the protons are monitored with a range of 8 to 30 MeV in two energy channels. The secondary payload is the Electrostatic Plasma Brake, developed by Finnish Meteorological Institute. The device is designed to lower the orbit altitude of the satellite and deorbit the satellite. A 3U CubeSat Packet data repeater: Space station receives messages from amateur ground stations, stores them and sends these stored messages as a part of its beacon transmission. |
