| Description |
Designed to study heliogeophysical phenomena (“space weather”). The data that will be obtained by the instruments will make it possible to register various dangerous phenomena that can lead to a significant deterioration of the radiation situation in near-Earth space.
- Standard size: CubeSat 6U-XL (100 x 226.3 x 365.9 mm, 12 kg)
- Daily power: 6 W
- Attitude and stabilization system: three-axis electromagnetic with flywheel motors, star sensor.
- Orientation and stabilization accuracy:< 0.4 deg, < 0.01 deg/s
- High speed radio link: S (half duplex, up to 4 Mbit/s)
- Propulsion system: wave plasma engine
The payload of the devices includes:
- Galactic cosmic ray detector "GAMVEKI-GM" (developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "IPG"). Measures the total flux density of protons and electrons with Geiger counters in four energy ranges (electrons with energy ≥0.15 MeV, ≥0.7 MeV, ≥1.7 MeV, ≥4.2 MeV; protons with energy ≥5 MeV, ≥15 MeV, ≥25 MeV, ≥40 MeV respectively).
- Galactic cosmic ray detector "GAMVEKI-CH" (developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "IPG"). Measures the flux density of protons with energies greater than 600 MeV using a Cherenkov detector.
- The “GAMVEKI-GM” and “GAMVEKI-CH” devices are devices of the GALS complex adapted to the CubeSat format for federal satellites of the “Meteor-M”, “Electro-L” and “Arktika-M” series developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution “IPG” (Roshydromet). The data obtained will make it possible to predict dangerous heliogeophysical phenomena that affect the radiation situation in near-Earth space.
- ADS-V/AIS signal receiver. AIS equipment is designed for the automatic exchange of navigation, voyage and other information between water vessels with each other and coastal services to improve navigation safety.
- High-frequency plasma engine (developed by Advanced Propagation Systems LLC)
Flight test results
- The data obtained from detectors of galactic and solar radiation are transferred to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "IPG" and make an additional contribution to the ability to forecast the heliogeophysical situation in the interests of Roshydromet.
- The received AIS data is verified and transmitted to Morsvyazsputnik, an enterprise subordinate to the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport of the Ministry of Transport of Russia. It ensures the reception and processing of information from ship, coastal and satellite segments of AIS in the interests of the sea and river fleet.
