Follow-up mission to SanoSat-1 with a camera payload.

Description

UTNH-SAJILO-SAT (Sanosat-2) is the follow up project of SanoSat-1 (NO 116) and has similar missions except the main payload. It is a 5x5x5cm Pocketqube.

The satellite has 2MP camera as a main payload. The Image is sent with SSDV packets via GFSK Modulation so that the amateur community can downlink and decode the image packets. The Satellite also acts as a digital repeater. Amateur Radio operators will be able to upload a message to the satellite and it will transmit to the ground station and has similar protocol to SanoSat-1 and will be published online.

The satellite does not have active ADCS but it has 6 axis IMU along with sun sensors so that enough data can be collected for study to design ADCS system for next mission. All the data is transmitted via GFSK protocol, and the decoder will be made available to the amateur radio operators to downlink and decode the data. The satellite also sends a Morse Code identification. This will help amateur radio operators to 1) detect the presence of the satellite and 2) measure basic properties of the signals: strength, fading (spin), doppler (speed), etc.
