Third aerospace project developed by UTE and UESOR

Description

UTE University and the Southwest State University of Russia (UESOR) are in the final stages of constructing the Galapagos-UTE student nanosatellite , a joint project developed at the K.E. Tsiolkovsky Research Institute of Space Engineering and Radioelectronics Systems, based in Kursk. This new scientific mission pays tribute to the Galapagos Islands, which will be monitored from space, and reaffirms the institutions' commitment to international cooperation in science and technology.

As part of the third joint project between Southwest State University (WSSU) and UTE University in the field of space research and development, a UTE delegation traveled to Russia to work on the development of the Galapagos-UTE nanosatellite and to enhance their knowledge of space technology.

During their stay, the students participated in the integration of the Galápagos-UTE nanosatellite with the transport and launch container developed by Orbital Systems. This space program, created jointly by UESOR and UTE University, is in its final preparation phase for launch into orbit in the coming months.

The integration process was successfully completed, allowing students to gain direct experience in handling nanosatellites and in key technical procedures for space missions.
