| Description |
Evaluate the utility of a 12U nanosatellite mission built on CubeSat components for scientific and military purposes. Main payload is an advanced MWIR camera for monitoring the Earths infrared background. In addition, there is a radiation sensor for in orbit measurements Cryocooled MWIR detector and FPGA-based data processing unit. The system performs background monitoring in spectral bands with low atmospheric transmission. FPGA System-on-chip provides the computational performance, interfaces and mass storage for capturing, pro-cessing and storing high-resolution images. Payloads mass of 2.5 kg and power requirements of 17 W . |
