Acquire high quality nighttime imagery of the Midwest from orbit to measure the quantity and quality of light pollution.

Description

Acquire high quality nighttime imagery of the Midwest from orbit to measure the quantity and quality of light pollution across a 1000 km x 1000 km area centered on Chicago. The secondary goal of the mission will demonstrate useful refinement and monitoring of two-line elements (TLEs) through an inexpensive, low volume and low power radio repeater subsystem for small satellites, working in conjunction with one or more ground stations.
