Description

To detect Terrestrial Gamma Ray Flashes in coincidence with ground lighting strike data and characterize the Gamma Ray beam geometries. To better establish connection between UV Flashes and TLEs, better temporal characteristics measurements, and spatial distribution (Science mission will last for 1 year). To become AMSAT transponders when science mission is complete (Transponder mode will last 4 years). To prepare students for the workforce. To attract and retain students in STEM disciplines.
