Description

16 different satellite missions within the framework of the Space-PI project with the participation of students and schoolchildren.

HSE-2 is a satellite with the AIS hardware and software system on board. It receives navigational data from ships. The collected information from the spacecraft is transmitted to ground stations and processed. After launching into orbit, satellites are controlled by the Mission Control Centers of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and SPUTNIX. With the help of the device, you can track and correct the routes of ships, including along the Northern Sea Route.

The satellite is equipped with a MEPhI plasma engine. An experiment will be conducted with him to correct the orbit, which gradually decreases during the flight due to friction against the upper atmosphere.
