Kosar 1.5 is the third Omidfaza satellite project, designed by combining the capabilities of Kosar and Hodhod with significant upgrades in both Earth observation and satellite communications.

This satellite is also an advanced satellite based on the CubeSat standard and is being developed as our third IOD mission.

The Kosar 1.5 satellite integrates an imaging payload in the RGB and NIR spectra and an Internet of Things (IoT) communication module to simultaneously support space imaging and data collection from distributed ground sensors.

This dual-purpose design allows the satellite to be used in both environmental monitoring and smart infrastructure applications, including advanced change detection, smart agricultural monitoring, and natural resource management. The satellite's deployable solar panels provide sufficient power for high-frequency imaging and stable communication operations.
