Demostrate ferrofluid based attitude control.

Description

Check how the magnetic liquid, called ferrofluid, will act in the space. Use it as a flywheel in outer space where is no gravitation, by putting it in rotary motion in magnetic field. The liquid should rotate with expected velocity and change the direction of rotational speed of the satellite. Ferrofluid is a suspension consisting of tiny magnetite molecules in carrier fluid. In our experiment we will use its strong reactivity to magnetic field.

Results

Main experiment of Ferrofluid Reaction Wheel not started due to negative power budgets and various cascading problems.

Failure cause Power supply (negative power budget) problems causing endless loop of restarts. Also hysteresis and EPS problems.
