Description

Hands-on education & training of students on a real spacecraft project. A Radio Amateur Platform (RAP) from TU Delft, comprising a linear transponder. Development of a modular nanosatellite spacecraft bus and a distributed ground segment. Demonstration of four arrays of Thin Film Solar Cells (TFSC) from Dutch Space. Demonstration of two Autonomous Wireless Sun Sensors (AWSS) from TNO.

Results

For the time being, Delfi-C3 is still being heard every day. “It may not be healthy, but I get an email every day when our ground station has made contact with the satellite,” says Chris Verhoeven.
