Care Weather's fourth test satellite and first weather radar sensing ocean surface wind speed.

Description

Fledgling is the 4th iteration in our series of technology demonstration satellites that prove out the majority of Care Weather's in-house satellite radar technology on orbit from an incredibly low-cost platform.

Fledgling aims to demonstrate:

As a tech demo mission, Fledgling Veery will first run through a series of commissioning and stress tests to demonstrate functionality of all of it's new an upgraded systems. After this, Veery will enter an operational mode, providing a limited monitoring capability for ocean surface wind speed.
