Educational mission for learning experience.

Description

SanskarSat-1 is an educational 1U CubeSat mission built to introduce students to real spaceflight. The satellite demonstrates simple optical communication using a bright LED beacon, while teaching core concepts such as telemetry, power management, communications, systems engineering, and responsible space operations through hands-on learning from design to launch and operations.

A 1U CubeSat mission.

The mission complies with ITU provisions 1.56, 1.57, and 25 by operating solely for educational and amateur purposes. It provides hands-on learning for students in satellite design and radio communication. The satellite will operate on amateur frequency (435 MHz ± 64 kHz), allowing global amateur radio operators to receive telemetry, participate in propagation studies, and contribute to technical experimentation. This supports the advancement of amateur satellite service through global collaboration, self-training, and knowledge sharing.
