| Description |
Demonstration that Thai engineers can build a real satellite 100% using both domestically produced and COTS (Commercial-off-the-shelf) parts. NARIT-Cube 1 is scheduled to fly on Space One's KAIROS rocket. On its first flight, KAIROS exploded due to a malfunction that required the Flight Termination System to be activated. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly on its second flight later this year. |
