Confirm our designed VO2-based solid-solid PCM battery’s temperature mitigation device. |
| Description |
We are now running an actual nanosatellite project to confirm our designed VO2-based solid-solid PCM battery’s temperature mitigation device. The satellite is named “DENDEN-01” (ultra-DENse power DEmoNstrator). It will be deployed from ISS in 2024. The satellite’s main mission is the power component related demonstration: novel battery testing, PCM device certification, and novel in-situ battery state estimation method verification in orbit. The PCM device verification is the dominant mission. |
