Description	The small spacecraft "Aist-ST" of the Samara National Research University named after Academician S. P. Korolev was created on the basis of the satellite platform of the CubeSat standard of the 16 U format. The main purpose of the MKA is the experimental testing of radar equipment in space with the aim of stimulating scientific, innovative and project activities of young people in the field of monitoring the Earth and near-Earth space. Radar imaging equipment (SAR) is designed to form a radar image in the X-band of radio frequencies - a range from 8 to 12 GHz (wavelength from 3.75 to 2.5 cm). SAR is designed to monitor ice covers in the Arctic regions, as well as to solve problems of remote sensing of the Earth. The module for measuring the parameters of contamination of the surface of the spacecraft is built on the basis of quartz microbalances. With the help of this additional payload, it is expected to obtain data on the rate of contamination of the elements of the spacecraft by products of its own external atmosphere. Some characteristics of the Aist-ST device: orbital altitude: 400-600 kilometers; resolution of radar images on the ground: not worse than 2 km; maximum operating frequency band width: 200 MHz; radiometric sensitivity: from -12 to -8 dB; area of the phased array: 0.32 m²; polarization: vertical; maximum slant observation range: 500 km; maximum capture strip: not less than 30 km; Power supply system capacity: 150 W.
