Robotic arm driven by SMA (Shape Memory Alloys) actuators. Perovskite photovoltaic cells. Experimental platform for testing flexible absorbers of ionizing radiation.
|
Description |
Inside, there will be primarily electronic systems necessary for the operation of the satellite. In addition, we will also include our experiments in it:
Robotic arm driven by SMA (Shape Memory Alloys) actuators
The proposed experiment assumes the design and construction of a miniature robotic arm driven by SMA actuators (Shape Memory Alloys). Such an arm placed in the nanosatellite would allow for missions, so far performed only by full-size space vehicles.
Perovskite photovoltaic cells
The aim of the experiment is to check the parameters of perovskite photovoltaic cells and their change over time with long-term influence of vacuum, radiation and frequent temperature changes. During a space mission, the current-voltage characteristics, temperature of cells and the orientation of solar panels towards the Sun would be studied.
Experimental platform for testing flexible absorbers of ionizing radiation
The aim of the proposed experiment is to develop a cheap, durable and flexible coating that absorbs ionizing radiation in the field of energies harmful to living organisms and semiconductor elements, i.e. from single kiloelectron volts to about 300 keV.
