Sateliot’s unique satellite constellation is based on standard 5G IoT, allowing standard cellular devices to connect in a seamless way.

• Sateliot is leading a consortium of a dozen companies and the Spanish Ministry of Defense, as a potential user, to deploy the nanosat constellation, the company said; the project involves an investment of €176 million and has been submitted to the Spanish Ministry of Industry.
• Spanish satellite-IoT startup Sateliot received EUR 640,000 ($702,000) loan to finance 2d sat, to launch late this year, from Spanish Industry Ministry's Enisa innovation fund, which made initial EUR 100,000 loan in 2019.

• Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) and G+D subsidiary Pod Group yesterday announced their partnership with Sateliot, the 5G satellite operator headquartered in San Diego. This partnership will enable G+D to offer users of its IoT services true global coverage. Whenever a terrestrial cellular connection is unavailable, roaming to a satellite network is automatic.
