Notes	The paper presents the development of a deployable mesh reflector for cubesat missions. Cubesat missions present interesting opportunities to develop affordable technology for satellite communications, earth observation, and science missions. In this frame, the technology developed in the MODAR (Modular Deployable Antenna Reflector) project, funded by ESA, resulted in a 1 m diameter offset fed antenna reflector suitable for missions up to Ka-band. Indeed, the reflector presents high packaging efficiency, weight-size ratio and scalability. Moreover, it also has a high thermal stability due to a carbon fiber ring structure. Furthermore, the reflecting surface and the deployable ring are developed to be scalable to larger apertures of 3 m. The deployable reflector has been manufactured, assembled and tested as part of this project, showcasing its excellent stowing capability and surface accuracy.
